Arcadia signs Gerrie Schipske to write 4th local history book

Arcadia Publishing has signed me to write a 4th book on Long Beach history. The new book will be published this summer and will be titled: Legendary Locals of Long Beach.

I am proud to be joined by my daughter, Kate Schipske, in writing this photo essay about those who have had a lasting impact on our city.
